Building a scalable sneaker and fashion e-commerce system with automation at its core

Kickass Kickss operates as a broad catalog-led storefront with sneakers, hypewear, bags, accessories, beauty, collectables, and activewear, while also surfacing a large brand and category structure that includes Jordan, Nike, Yeezy, Adidas, New Balance, On Running, Hoka, and more. The homepage also highlights new arrivals, celebrity association messaging, and a sale-price driven merchandising flow.

The Objective

Create a Shopify-based e-commerce system that can handle a large and changing catalog efficiently, reduce manual effort through automation, support multiple payment options, and align the storefront with ongoing Google Ads performance activity.

The project was approached as more than a standard Shopify build. The store needed to look premium for a fashion-forward audience, while also supporting operational efficiency and campaign performance through automation and payment flexibility.

Shopify Store Development

We built the e-commerce storefront on Shopify with a structure suitable for sneaker, fashion, and accessory-led browsing — helping users navigate categories, products, and price-led merchandising more clearly.

Data Entry and Custom Crawlers

Alongside manual product handling, custom crawlers were built to support data acquisition and update workflows, reducing the dependency on repetitive manual entry and helping the store scale more efficiently.

Payments and Performance Marketing

Razorpay, Cashfree, and PhonePe were integrated to support checkout flexibility, while Google Ads performance marketing was used to drive qualified traffic into a store experience built to convert.
